Undefined variable in 2.0.49

Following the upgrade to ver. 2.0.49, when trying to list events in backend, the following errors are added to the web server error log:

stderr: PHP message: PHP Notice: Undefined variable: wpdb in /blahblah/wp-content/plugins/events-made-easy/eme_recurrence.php on line 326, referer: https://mysite.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=eme-manager

stderr: PHP message: PHP Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /blahblah/wp-content/plugins/events-made-easy/eme_recurrence.php on line 326, referer: https://mysite.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=eme-manager

Needless to say, the events themselves are not displayed.
