• I have over 1000 subscribers to my blog.

My hosting service set cron emails at 450 per hour and I set the ‘Email Subscribers’ cron settings at 250 per hour.

But I’m getting undelivered mail because emails sent ‘exceeded the max emails per hour (561/450 (124%)) allowed.’

    Please help.

  • Hello Louis,

Sorry for the inconvenience you had.

It seems cron is running multiple times within an hour and due to that it exceed the hourly limit.

Can you please check whether cron which you have set is running hourly or it’s different?

If not set hourly, we would recommend to set it hourly so, you don’t exceed the hourly limit set by the server

    Hello Support,

The help I need is for ‘Email Subscribers’ cron setting at 250 emails per hour to work. That did NOT happen as I explained in my first request for help.

    Hello Malay,

Are you saying i should select ‘once per hour’ on the cpanel cron settings?
    Louis Blake

    Hello Louis,

Yes..you should select ‘once per hour’ option on the cpanel cron setting

Which means this cron will run once in an hour and you set the email send limit is 250 which will never exceed server email sending limit (450).

    Hope that helps!
