  • The times that I’ve seen this in the past has been from a file that’s been uploaded only part of the way befor the connection has had an issue, so only part of the file gets written to the server.

    If you haven’t done anything there’s a chance that oen of the automatic upgrades may have caused the problem, bit it’s hard ot be sure. What I’d suggest that you do is download the WordPress installation package again, and use FTP to upload all of the filex execept .htaccess, wp-config.php and the wp-content folder. You may also have to re-upload your themes files and maybe the plugins files, but most likely not.
