  • My guess is that you accidentally deleted something while editing the file.

Does your line 66 match this line 66? http://plugins.trac.ww.wp.xz.cn/browser/auto-terms-of-service-and-privacy-policy/trunk/auto-terms-of-service-privacy-policy.php#L66

Whether it does or not, please delete the plugin, reinstall, activate, put [my_terms_of_service_and_privacy_policy] in one of your pages or posts, view the post, and see if it displays “go edit the plugin file” or whatever it says (i.e. doesn’t give an error).

Maybe try editing one item, saving, reloading, checking for errors. Then change another item and repeat until you’ve made all the edits you want to make.

FYI: The goal is to make a wp-admin page to input the options but I haven’t gotten around to it. Someday probably. 😉

Marking resolved as I haven’t heard back. Feel free to update.

    I’m having the same error/issue.

I tried deleting going to the terms page on my site.

I edited the php file and change 1 line, save and get the message.

Delete the plugin again, reinstall, go to page, edit a different line, save and get the error.

Wondering if there is a conflict with another plugin or the recent version of WordPress.

This is what is line 66 for me (using the editor function in wordpress).

    $tcpp_websiteurl = “”; // e.g. “http://www.wordpress.com/”

Hi again. Maybe you edited the plugin file incorrectly…. the newest version doesn’t require editing the plugin file; instead, there’s a wp-admin settings page. 🙂

If you’re still experiencing an issue after the update, please submit a new ticket.

    Thank you.
