Hey @elfigos,
Hello, when I import the same file again none of the unique id matches with previously added data.
Instead of creating a new “New Items” import, you should update and re-run the initial import – see https://www.wpallimport.com/documentation/update-import/. You can learn more about this and the import types here: https://www.wpallimport.com/documentation/import-types/.
I’m sorry but it clearly says “update if existing post”, unfortunately when it bumps into existing post it totally ignores it.
I checked the unique id table on database, it’s there, and when I set the unique id during importation it still ignores it and create a totally identical product
Hi @elfigos,

A “New Items” import can only update existing posts if they’re posts that the import previously created. It cannot update existing posts created manually or by other imports, even if the unique ID is the same.

If this happens when you’re re-running the same import that created the posts, or with an “Existing Items” import, we’ll need to check the settings and data. In this case, replicate the issue on a sandbox site at http://www.wpallimport.com/debug/, then open a support request at http://www.wpallimport.com/support/ with the sandbox site URL and a brief description of the issue.
