Hey Buddy
Just in case, I have tested again on my two sites and its working fine. Are you sure you are testing it right. Refreshing the page would only increase the count for pageviews but Unique views would remain the same.
Please share your page where you have added the counters.
Thanks
Hello,
This is the link of my website:
http://www.martinvdmoortel-photography.be
Only the counter-type=visitors is selected.
Thanks
I see the problem. Thanks for bringing this up. I ll work on this push the changes in a day or two.
I saw also that the counter does not increase when I’m viewing the website on my tablet using the Google Chrome brownser app.
Thanks
Actually scratch what I said earlier. I got confused testing the page views shortcode and thinking it was a Visitors widget.
I have tested this thoroughly now and every thing seems to working fine.
Please make sure that you have selected the “Visitors” as counter type on the widgets settings.

The ‘Visitors’ is selected as counter type.

The same problem when I use the short code. Both counters included.
Unique visitors: [srs_total_visitors].
Total pageviews: [srs_total_pageViews]
See this test page:

This is strange.
Please update your plugin to the latest version. I have added some tags to differentiate the counters on the front end. Also please give me your email address. I ll send you a custom version to install and test with debug on.
Thanks
The test page was already with the latest Version 0.1.3.

Thank you very much.
Do you know if there is some code destroying a session on every page load. I cant think of any other scenario that might be causing this. Plugin depends on the user session to figure out if its the same person browsing through different section of the site or a new person.
Is there a way to find out? I don’t know if this could be the case.
