• Hi,

Can I solve the following task with this plugin?

I display products with unit price (/pcs), but I sell them in different packages: as pack (100pcs) and as carton (1000pcs). The unit price is different for package and carton.

So I have to display the unit price according the selected package type, and I would like to display the quantity (to cart) as different steps according to the package type: 100, 200, 300, etc. for pack and 1000, 2000, 3000, etc. for carton.

    If yes, how?
And which price will be in the Google (Merchant/Shopping) feed? I need both…

    Hi @feri6 ,

For your case, you can create a variable product with Piece, Pack and Box as variations. Then use this plugin to set up the unit price for each variation (price of each variation is the unit price) then open the Variation tab, find the WPC Product Quantity box to set up the quantity rules for each variation, for example:

    – Piece (no quantity rule, price = $5)
    – Pack (set up step = 100, price = $490)
    – Box (step = 1000, price = $4500)

You can read more about how to set up quantity rules for variations here: https://doc.wpclever.net/wpclever-all-wpc-plugins/wpc-product-quantity/

You will find a similar example to your case at the end of the documentation. However, I must state in advance that in order to set up the quantity rules on variation level, you must use the Premium version. In the free version, users can only set up quantity rules storewide (on the system level)

    Best regards.

    Thank you.

I think we will solve this problem with “WPC Product Bundles for WooCommerce” plugin and we make a bundle, because we want to display unit prices, using quantity steps and we can export the products with multiple prices into the Google Merchant and other feeds with Smart boundles. At least we hope…

What happens with the “in stock” and “out of stock” messages if the customer chooses the “box” variation but the there is only 800 in stock (so actually only the piece and pack variation is available)?
So this plug in watches the stock levels, too? (The variations have common stock in the product as they are only package variations.)
