What they said…looking forward to the added features of this change.
Anybody know the link to github of this plugin? I think we can update class_frontend.php first to update ga.js to universal analytics.
And i hope can push it on github for everyone can try this.
I found this link today. Currently he’s bet a testing Universal Analytics on his own site before deploying.

He had this to say on March 31, 2014:
“It’s not that I want to keep it a secret, it”s that there are serious issues with GA Universal account provisioning that I am trying to find a solution for before we make this switch. In particular I want to be able to create and manage custom dimensions through an API, as having people do that manually and then enter the dimensions numbers into the backend seems far too error prone to me.”
@lamnt
Is this (master version) the version you’re talking about?
Does anyone know in which file and what do I have to change in it? Is it going to work alright after?
+1 for Universal Analytics implemented to the plugin ASAP.
wow… I guess I’m joining the queue to see when the plugin will be using Universal as opposed to ga.js. In the meantime, don’t want to lose more time so gonna deactivate (not uninstall) yoast’s plugin. Should that work out o.k.?
Yaaay. Seems Yoast was working on getting Universal Analytics going in the background. Following a few initial bugs with the 5.0 release, version 5.0.5 is now available for download. Hail Yoast.

Yoast have launched their plugin for ecommerce.
Sorry it handles Universal analytics.
The WordPress plugin that words easily with the added GA Display code line is:
Google Analytics Dashboard for WP
I’ve used 4 different WordPress plugins and this adds it the easiest. Enjoy!
