    Hi @webmastermedluse

    I hope you’re well today!

There’s a “302 Found” HTTP response first, followed by yet another redirect in first case, then another 302 redirect.

The “302 Found” is supposed (originally) to be a “moved temporarily” redirect and it’s not quite “common”/expected to follow this redirect with another (301 – permanent) redirect, as well as another 302 redirect. While the link does work, it makes it kind of “bouncing” so it might be considered broken.

There’s a setting on “Settings -> Link Checker” page in “General” tab to mark “uncertain” links as a warnings rather than broken. Can you give it a try and see if that removes “broken” flag from these links?

They’d still be reported but as warnings rather than broken links. Also, if you are sure they are fine you can just mark them as not broken on broken links list.

    Kind regards,
    Adam

    Hi

Thanks for your quick reply. The tool was already configured to mark uncertain links as warning. I’ll talk to the LU web group and ask why they are doing the rewrites in this way.

There is an option called “Exclusion list”. Perhaps I could use this to exclude the websites?

Is there any documentation for this option (the syntax)?

    Kind regards
    Ingemar

    Hi @webmastermedluse

It checks for words, so as long you add the website name as a “word” it will ignore from checking.

I’m afraid we don’t have documentation for this.

Let us know the result you got on the exclusion list.

    Best Regards
