Hello there,

Today, we received an email from a customer in Florida. We have version 1.6.1 of WooCommerce PayPal Payments installed.

`I would like to purchase the GPS antenna pole mounting kit from your website. However, I get the following error when I attempt to pay at checkout:

“[UNPROCESSABLE_ENTITY] The requested action could not be performed, semantically incorrect, or failed business validation. https://developer.paypal.com/docs/api/orders/v2/#error-PAYEE_ACCOUNT_RESTRICTED”

This error comes up regardless of the payment method I try to use. Earlier this year I purchased a Ruxton pack, which is awesome, from the website without issue. Please advise.

Hello @pmycroft

the error you are seeing (PAYEE_ACCOUNT_RESTRICTED) is related to the PayPal business account you use for receiving payments. In order to get this resolved you can do 2 things:
– Go through the onboarding process; connect your account via the connect wizard (but it seems you did this already before).
– Contact PayPal and have them review and correct your account.
