unrecognized expression

After adding your plugin and adding a javascript snippet into the “third-party” cookie head-section and body-section, I get a console error:

Uncaught Error: Syntax error, unrecognized expression: $( document ).ready(function() {
console.log( “ready body!” );
});

I can’t figure out what’s the exact problem. Help is very appreciated.
