From not being able to connect to paypal dev sandbox to us not being able to properly process refunds (apparently from API v3 calls)… this should NOT the preferred Paypal plugin!! ESPECIALLY for the holidays..

The old one works JUST fine.. Seems to be paypal’s attempt to push their stripe/merchant account-ish, vanilla credit card processing solutions…

We will be notifying paypal as well as they seem to be pushing this broken plugin..

Anyone else experience issues with the sandbox (eg push to connect) popup in admin and the v3 refund api calls not working??

    Hi @dakman,

Could you share more details about what issues exactly you experience with the “Connect to PayPal” onboarding wizard? It’s easy to connect your account with a few clicks, or alternatively, you can connect it manually via API credentials: https://paypal.inpsyde.com/docs/connect-a-paypal-account/
Can you please also elaborate on what you mean with v3 refund API calls not working?
Are you trying to refund an order that was created with a different plugin? That won’t work. You can only refund orders that were created with the same integration.
If you enable “Logging” in the plugin settings, then every API call writes a log entry that contains more information about it. I suggest enabling Logging and then performing a refund again, so we could take a look at your log files to get a better idea.
    Thank you!

Having issues with this payment plugin.

Fatal error: Uncaught TypeError: Argument 3 passed to WooCommerce\PayPalCommerce\ApiClient\Endpoint\PartnerReferrals::request_response_string() must be of the type array, object given….

The old one Paypal Payment plugin works.

This new one being pushed as the preferred plugin must be thoroughly improved!

    Not production ready!

i dont have time to debug atm its holiday season so we will just go back to the old plugin until early next year… maybe by then this is more stable!
