• I’d like to be able to click a button to auto unsubscribe from update emails – I do not need a daily reminder of an update. When I log in to WordPress and follow the instructions to find out how to stop the update emails it is hard to follow. Can you just embed a unsubscribe button in the email that allows a user to click on if they no longer want the update emails.

I’m using version 4.5 and still getting the emails.

Which website are you subscribed to?

It just sends you a link to your own website.

“This is an automated email from OneClick Installer. To unsubscribe from these emails or to change notification settings, login to your web hosting control panel, navigate to the OneClick Installer tool, and select the installed applications you wish to modify.

An update to WordPress 4.5 (major version) is now available for the WordPress installations you are managing using OneClick Installer. The following can be updated:”

But it is unclear how to stop these emails from the above instructions.

It sounds like this is coming from a tool from your hosting providers. Try carefully poking around your hosting provider’s control panel and search for something called “oneclick”. Then see if there’s a setting in there to turn off emails
