    Hello,

I am using Hustle as a newsletter on my website, the user can opt-in to receive a custom recipes book for free.

So what I am having trouble with is that when I first send the confirmation email to the user I also want to be able to add an unsubscription link in the email.

I tried to add the shortcode {hustle_unsubscribe_link} into the body of the email but it appears as text only.

    Thank you for your help

    Hi @kennykf1

I hope you are doing well.

It seems you are using the shortcode on Automated Email, however, this only works for Hustle > Settings > Unsubscribe > Unsubscribe Email Copy

You can create an Unsubscribe page on WordPress, use the shortcode:

    [wd_hustle_unsubscribe id="" ]

    https://premium.wpmudev.org/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/hustle/#unsubscribe

And allow you, users, to unsubscribe from that page.

I found a feature request to allow the link on the automated email, I’m sending this thread as one more request.

Let us know if you have any additional question.
    Best Regards

    Hello Patrick,

I am fine, thank you for asking. What about you?

First of all thank you for helping me out.

I tried to add that shortcode before but I don’t really understand what it really does.

When I add it to a page it gives me an input field and a button with the label “Get Lists”, it seems like it doesn’t do anything. I tried to remove a few emails with this form but it didn’t work, it seems like it only refreshes the page. Is there anything that I am missing?

    Hello @kennykf1,

Just to rule out one possibility, did you add the pop-up module id inside the shortcode? You can find a module’s ID in the URL of the module’s wizard page, for example:/wp-admin/admin.php?page=hustle_popup&id=58

Also, could you help me with the page where the pop is configured and also the page where the unsubscribe shortcode is added to check the same further?

    Thank you,

    Hello!

Yes I did add the id as you can see in the imgur.

When I try to use the input from the form, it changes the URL to give a few parameters ?email=HERE_GOES_MY_EMAIL&form_step=enter_email&form_module_id=1&current_url=https%3A%2F%2FMY_SITES_URL%2Funsubscribe%3Fpagename%3Dunsubscribe. But it doesn’t do anything else other than that, the email is still there in the Email Lists tab.

    Hi @kennykf1,

Can you share an URL to your unsubscribe page so we can check this further?
Once the subscribed email is submitted on that page it should show where it it’s subscribed and selecting the list will send an unsubscribe email.

    Cheers,
    Predrag

    Hello @kennykf1 ,

We haven’t heard from you for over 3 weeks now, so it looks like you no longer need our assistance.

Please feel free to re-open this ticket if needed.

    kind regards,
    Kasia

    Hi,

Can you please re-open this ticket. This doesn’t appear to be resolved. I recently implemented Hustle’s emailing list, and I received the same results as described by kennykf1 above.

Have attempted to resolve it with no success.

I Need some help with Unsubscribe Link.
