The notification to admin for new subscribers says it “must be turned on”. Though the option is there to turn it off, but I don’t know what the side effect would be if you do.
The report that the notification email was sent has no option to turn it off.
I support in both cases you could use an email rule to automatically move the admin notification messages to trash.

My question was about the unsubscribe notification that a subscriber gets after unsubscribing:
Text to display after email unsubscribed
This text will display once user clicked unsubscribed link from our newsletter.
“Thank you, you have been successfully unsubscribed. You will no longer hear from us.”
I was asking whether the admin may be notified when someone unsubscribes.

That would be a nice feature request but the “suggestion” menu displaying here at homepage doesn’t go anywhere…

Not always. But he acknowledged the last bug report and said it would be fixed in an upcoming release.
@dsl225 Hi, in admin Settings >> Message menu, we already have option to change “unsubscribed” text.
