I created a page that contains the unsubscribe shortcode but it doesn’t seem to work. My add subscriber form does work.

I get a “you seem to already be unsubscribed” message — but when I go to MailChimp to look at my list, the email address is still listed as subscribed.

This is the shortcode I’m using:

[yikes-mailchimp-unsubscribe list=”The name of my list identical to the subscribe form list” title=”Unsubscribe” description=”To unsubscribe from our mailing list, enter the email below.”]

What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

    Hi @vbengeult,

I would check the List ID in your shortcode. You could also trying using the form parameter instead and see if that works. You can read more about the available options in this knowledge base article – https://yikesplugins.com/knowledge-base/create-an-unsubscribe-form/

If neither approaches results in a change in behavior, you might check your site’s debug log for relevant messages.

Let me know if that helps,
    Jon
