• Hello !
Yesterday I received 13 messages with the object “One user unsubscribed to your newsletter” …(for 154 suscribers) and one concerned my subscription… So I suppose MailPoet was hacking. And It was. Whe n saw my maipoet profile, my statut was changed automacally “suscribe” to “unsuscribe” and the twelve users concerned too,…Did someone already have this problem ? What are the solution to protect suscribers against this hacking ?
Thank you for your help 🙂

  • We haven’t heard anything about that. Perhaps there’s a spam filter in between checking links inside your newsletters to determine if they are spam or not, thus activating unsubscribes, not sure. Why would someone hack the unsubscribe link to start unsubscribing users? That doesn’t make much sense.

Thank you MailPoet for your answser… and excuse me, I’wasn’t very reactive.
Yes It’s very strange but I have news to tell you
    1) All the sucribers with Yahoo’s e-mail account and only these users are concerned by this hack
    2) I modified the statut and I renew suscription of the users….2 days affter, the were
    automacally ““unsuscribe”.

Very strange isn’t it ? And nothing found on the web about something like that.

Thank you for your answer !

    I encounter this problem too!
All the problems are the same like yours.
User’s status was changed automacally “suscribe” to “unsuscribe”.
    90% happens to the sucribers with Yahoo’s e-mail account….
