    Hi,

I run into a problem regarding the translation of strings of gwolle-gb.
I am using WPML and everything translates fine except for the following text that can be found in:
    1) Guestbook > Settings > Header Text
    2) Guestbook > Settings > Notice Text

    1) Write a new entry for the Guestbook
    2) Fields marked with * are required.
Your E-mail address won’t be published.
For security reasons we save the IP address %ip%.
It’s possible that your entry will only be visible in the guestbook after we reviewed it.
We reserve the right to edit, delete, or not publish entries.

The main language of the websit is EN and the additional languages are NL, FR and RU.

Mentioned strings have been translated with WMPL String translation. These strings are saved and marked with status Translation complete.
However these texts in Dutch, French and Russian still show in English….

Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks in advance for looking into this.

    Kind regards,
    Robert

    Additional info:
I just read at the Guestbook > Settings page
“If you use a Multi-Lingual plugin, keep the 2 fields for header and notice empty when saving. That way the default text will be shown from a translated PO file.”

When I remove/empty the content of the Header Text and Notice Text fields and then click the blue button Save Settings, the English texts re-appear instead of showing empty fields.

    Additional info (2):
Despite the fact that the English texts re-appear in the mentioned field, I just notice (pfwew..) that despite this the Header Text and the Notice Text are translated into the mentioned additional languages.

    Problem solved!

    Nice.
And yes, the reappearing of the text is slightly confusing. But you have saved an empty field, so it’s good.
