    Hello,
Does the term “Unused, but autoloaded” indicate that the scripts are linked to remnants of unused plugins or deleted plugins (and are therefore data that should be deleted altogether)?
I have some items whose origin I can’t figure out (for example, named “tec_freemius_accounts_archive”) that I don’t know what to do with… but they weigh 53 KB.
    Thanks in advance.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hey @dragondefeu76,

Unused but autloaded means the option is autoloaded, but our plugin has been unable to detect it being used. That doesn’t always mean the option isn’t used at all. What will help you identify options is if you browse your site (both on front end backend) in order for the plugin to index as much options as possible.

In this specific case, the option is set by The Events Calendar (tec), which seems to be running on your website.

Thank you. I have several questions:
1/ What do you mean by “in order for the plugin to index as many options as possible”? Does the plugin record and understand better when browsing the site as an admin?

2/ I have a lot of small options loaded automatically and in the “unused” category, but for the most part, I can’t determine what they’re related to (which plugin, is the plugin deleted and are they leftovers to be thrown away, etc.)? I have 1,390 options in this “unused” section. And yet, I’ve already done a major sorting of things that I was able to define as truly obsolete and to be deleted. Do you have a tip for sorting them?

3/ If I disable certain options (those that are unknown), will they be loaded if the site still needs them?

4/ Why do I have dozens of options at 0 KB?

    Thank you

1/ Yes, the plugin records the options used while you’re browsing and updating your site. So the more pages you visit, the better it will understand which options are really used.

2/ One of the ways you may be able to find what product these options belong to is by searching for the term on Github. To use your TEC example: https://github.com/search?q=tec_freemius_accounts_archive&type=code.
To have the biggest impact on your site, we’d recommend looking at the large options first. So sorting by size.

3/ It depends. Sorry, it’s a pretty useless answer. But let me explain. Some options may be repopulated when they were missing. But others might take (parts of) your site down. Unfortunately, that depends on the plugin’s implementation and is beyond our control.

4/ Many options are less then 1000 bytes (aka 1kB), and so they will be rounded down to 0. It just means they’re really small options.
