Unwanted Hyperlinks

Hello! I’m a first time WordPress user, but I’m not new to web design. I’m having some hyperlink problems with the site I’m working on and I can’t figure out what lines of which files I need to edit to solve them. I’m using the Versatility Lite theme. My site is located here http://www.aranea.ca and the “About” page has a sample of the problem I’m seeing on it.

The issues are as follows:

#1. Every title on every page of the site is a hyperlink, but I don’t want them to link to anything at all.

#2. This one is driving me crazy. Every time I insert a gallery into a page, all of the text turns into a hyperlink. I’ve tried every gallery under the sun and it still happens, so it must be in the WordPress or theme code somewhere.

Can anyone tell me how to fix these problems?
