    Hello,

I’m building a site for a restaurant that offers lunch and dinner, but doesn’t serve in the hours in-between those.

I have set it up like this:

The problem is that what I thought would be unavailable hours (between 3:45 PM and 8:45 PM) are shown as available on the time picker:

Tuesday and Wednesday shouldn’t have time slots after 3:45 PM but the time picker looks the same for every day actually.

Am I doing anything wrong? Is it not possible to do what we need?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello rijnswand,

It should definitely be possible to do exactly what you want.

Are you by any chance using a cache plugin? If so, could you delete your cache and see if that makes a difference? It might just be that we’re seeing old cached content when we’re looking at your booking page.

Also, do you have any exceptions set up? Exceptions completely overwrite the scheduling, so, if an exception is incorrectly configured, it could cause issues with schedule.

If neither of the above, then it could just be that one of your schedules isn’t correctly added. I would suggest to delete both of them and then add just one back. If that one works correctly, then add the second.

If that’s still not it, then sometimes a conflict with another plugin can cause such problems. As a test, you could disable all your plugins, except ours, and see if that makes a difference. If so, then, from there, you could re-activate your other plugins one by one until the issue happens again, to know which is causing the conflict.

    Hi, Jay,

    Thanks for the reply.

I’ve tried everything you suggested and it’s still happening.
I also tried with no other plugin turned on and changing the theme to one of the default ones(I’m using Neve, changed it to Twenty Nineteen) and still the same.

Then the only other thing is do you maybe not have your timezone set correctly in your WordPress general settings?

Other than that, do you happen to be using any premium features, such as the maximum settings? If so, then, if incorrectly configured, that could definitely be affecting this. If this might be the case, I will need to ask that you contact us via email or our site (https://www.fivestarplugins.com/), as these forums are for discussion of the free version of this software, and discussion of the premium version is prohibited.

My timezone is correctly set up, that’s one of the first things I did after installing wordpress.
And, I’m using the free version of the addon, that’s why I posted here. After reading through several pages of the support forum and searching on google just to find nothing I ended up asking, I guess I should have fiddled with the times a bit more before doing it. This looks like such a strange and silly corner case.

The problem seems to happen when I set the end time to 03:45PM, look at the linked images:

When I set the end time to 03:45PM all the remaining time slots for the day become available no matter what. I can work around that by asking my client to change that end time, so it’s not such a big deal.

Apologies for the inconvenience and thank you for your time. 🙂
