• Hi,

I need to make several customizations so that you plugin looks OK in my theme. My developer tells me you provide no instructions in you documentation how to override you theme in a way that it remains updatable.

Can you please advise if/how it’s possible to customize your plugin but still keep it updatable (e.g. by creating a sub folder under my theme, or a plugin-child folder)?

If it’s not possible, I can’t use your plugin.

    Thanks

    Hi Alex,

If you’d like to update the look/styling of the reviews on your site, your best bet would be to use the “Custom CSS” box in the “Basic” area of the “Options” tab to add in your own custom CSS that modifies the CSS in our plugin.

There is no “child theme” like functionality for our plugin. If you modify any of the core plugin code, it will indeed be overwritten if you update the plugin.

OK. noted. thanks. then I’m afraid I won’t be able to use your plugin. that’s a pity
