Not changes in setting after and before an update. But I have a backup before the update.
But the backup is not helpful. On the setting page should you see all items of the menu. Export your current setting with Adminimize, uninstall the options via the settings page, the last area on the settings page and then update the settings new – now you should see all menu items. After this import your settings form the external file.
Hi, i have the same problem. After I have updated plugin adminimize, the setting in the panel hid the option adminimize. I’m worried about this because i really need change options inside the adminimize in my panel.

You miss the Adminimize item in the menu, under “Settings”?
Do you have change the role, the capabilities inside the Admin Role?
The capability to see the settings item is manage_options, a object item in the Administrator role.
Is the plugin active in a Single Install or Multisite? If Multisite, is it network wide active?
Today I rechecking at Plugin Page > Adminimize > Setting. The Adminimize and Media reappear and were checked.
I think my issue was solved.
