In my plugin window in wordpress it says:

Any changes made to WPP’s default stylesheet will be lost after every plugin update. In order to prevent this from happening, please copy the wpp.css file (located at wp-content/plugins/wordpress-popular-posts/style) into your theme’s directory.

That’s why I haven’t updated the plugin. Does the above image mean I just can’t update the plugin automatically or what should I do more specially to make sure that no data is lost?

    Hi there!

Sorry for taking so long to reply.

Don’t worry. The plugin is just telling you that any custom design that you have added to WPP’s stylesheet will be lost the next time you update the plugin if you don’t copy the wpp.css file into your theme’s directory. You won’t lose any data at all.
