• We want to update a post based on a custom field, specifically an email address. We’ve already made it a unique field in ACF but can’t figure out how to use this plugin to do something like this.

If they enter this email address, then I want to update the post that contains that email. Essentially we’re making a mini-CRM of sorts.

Any idea how we can do this?

    Thanks,
    dan

I am not totally sure I understand. It sounds like it might be possible using gravity forms actions, but I am not sure exactly how at this time. I would probably need to know more, but it sounds like it is outside of the scope of this plugin, and would require a lot of custom coding.

You might look at using ACF’s acf_form() function to do this also. That can be a good way to create forms that are automatically tied to the post and use the same fields on the front end and back end.
