WP Experts Support TeamHi guys, I see it is listed as BETA, and other people are having other problems. I am not feeling secure to move on to new versions and I will revert back to the previous one until I see the issues with the new versions have stopped and the plugin is not BETA anymore.
It seems to me that the original developer passed the plugin to WP Experts, and the code was aggressively changed? Thanks
Hello @alemao2k6,
Thanks for getting back to me, We have already released the stable version so you can update the plugin on your site.
Note: The reason behind releasing the beta version is to test the plugin internally and after running some test cycles on the beta version then we released stable version.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out. We’re here to assist you.
Thank you
I just wanted to check what changed from the version before 3.0 to the newest one before I take any further action.
Do you have a github where I can see this more easily than comparing the whole pugin folders on my own?
ThanksHello @alemao2k6,

Thank you very much Mirza, but I must be honest.
This commit

Shows how big of a change has been done in the plugin, and it will be very complicated to analyze all this before making a decision to update.I will have to do a lot of tests, to make sure that all these changes in the plugin are not going to bring our site any unnecessary problems.
Before we close this topic, I would like to ask what is the vulnerability that has been fixed when you say on the 3.0 changelog:
Fixed – OrderBy query Vulnerability ?
Where can we find more information about that, especially if we want to continue using version 2.2.12 until we are ready to update for 3.xx?Thank you
following
Hi @@alemao2k6 @@suphub
Yes it’s a big change in the plugin because we have added many new features in the plugin.
New Features:
- License Activations
- PDF Certificates
- Option to migrate past order license generator tools
- User can view their license activations from My Account page
- Added ‘delete’ API endpoint
- Speed Optimization
Regarding the vulnerability, As per WordPress suggestions, we have add/changes to some functions in the code level to improve code efficiency and security which is good.
So you don’t have to worry about the latest release of License Manager.
Thank you
After some months after the migration to WP Experts, it seems like the plugin has been fixed, at least regarding the problem with past codes not showing up after the update.
I have done the same process now, with version 3.0.6, and all the licenses remain perfectly intact and showing for all customers.
