AMP view does not trigger after updating the siteground optimizer plugin. Not sure if anybody is facing the same issue.

Also, is there a guide to resolving this matter?

    Hello @joonsheungc,

I have just tested AMP view on a test installation, using the latest version of SiteGround Optimizer plugin, 7.2.4, and was unable to recreate the reported issue.

Could you please make sure you’re using this version, as it was released less than an hour ago and test one more time on your end?

If the issue is still present – please provide us with the exact error you’re getting and steps on how we can recreate it on our end as well.

    Best Regards,

    Hi Gergana,

The issue still persists despite us updating the SiteGround Optimizer plugin, 7.2.4.

I’ve just checked with AMP support and they suggested that we check if the plugin allows mobile caching or can we bypass caching for ?amp=1 query string.

For this purpose, do you have any guide?

    Thank you very much!

    Hello @joonsheungc,

I have reviewed the AMP support’s topic post and tested the home page on my end – at the moment it is loading the desktop version, on desktop, correctly.

We do have a filter for bypassing query strings, however it can be applied only for File Based caching, which is currently not active on your site.

I am also unable to recreate the reported issue for your site. The AMP test is successful, you can check the results here.

Could you please provide more details on the exact error/warning you’re getting as well as steps for us to recreate it. Alternatively – please submit a support ticket from your SiteGround’s Client Area, where our team can investigate in more details in case modifications on the site’s settings are needed.

    Best Regards,
