Update changing functionality?

First off, love the plugin, but, I just updated to 1.6.9 and the functionality has changed dramatically, at least, for me, or, has broken somehow.
I have a fairly simple 3-column table at this page: https://www.cancrime.com/parole-records/
Before the update, I had some cells in the leftmost column that did not have any content (because that row was another row about the same person listed above, so not all content was repeated).
All of the rows displayed, no problem, before the update. After the update, any row with content missing from any cell will not display at all at the frontend of my site??
