Update count for each page/post using historical data

I am not familiar with how to update a wordpress database table (yet). I saw you can update the post/page count from another plugin. Is there a way to update the count from data I have on page counts prior to installing the plugin? Can you educate me on how to find and update the database your plugin uses? I’m new to PHP and am on managed wordpress hosting so do not have MySQL access to the db via cPanel either. Do you have a script I could run against my site where I could plugin counts for each page/post to update your database?
