• I am not well-versed in WordPress. No problem maintaining & keeping up with updating plug-ins, WordPress,& PHP. But after the last updates, the theme crashed the site, apparently not compatible with the latest versions. No warning, no indication that the theme needed updating. Had been using Modular Lite(?). Currently using Twenty Twenty-Five for basic block set-up.

The main issue is REST_API is disabled. I contacted WildWest Domains, and they said I need a developer to enable it. I do not know any developers. I have searched WordPress forums on the Rest API and got a ton of code that I do not understand. Can you do something about this?

Go to Settings > Permalinks in the backend and save the settings there again. This will generate an .htaccess file in your hosting that will make the REST API and all of your URLs accessible again.
