    Hi from Germany,

just updated the plugin to the latest version 2.05. I created a wp-opening-hours-de_DE_formal.po & .mo file for the last Version, but after the update, the english language strings were shown again. After I reuploaded my local language files again, all strings have been translated correctly. Seems that the update process empties the language folder somehow.

Just a quick notice. Others than that: Very nice and effective plugin!

    Hello back from Germany 😉

This is the default WordPress update behavior. It erases the whole plugin contents and replaces it with the new version. So any manual change you have made in any file inside the plugin directory will be lost.

With WP Version < 4.6 you can currently place your translations in the wp-content/languages/plugins but not with a higher version. I will maybe add support for this for WP version >= 4.6 as with this approach you can keep your translations “update safe”.

    Thanks for your feedback
