update doesn't work

    Hi,

    We installed TablePress and it works perfectly. We’re running version 1.2 now.

    I tried to update TablePress. But for some reason the update goes wrong. It doesn’t want to delete the old version. What to do?
    Do I delete the old version and install the new version manually?

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    I’m not sure what’s wrong here, but my assumption is that some of the file permissions on the server are somehow wrong, so that the automatic update fails.
    The best way to proceed should indeed be to update the plugin manually, via FTP. Just delete the “tablepress” folder on the server and replace it with the one from a freshly downloaded plugin ZIP file.

    Same error by version 1.3 copying the new files did it.

    that could indicate that something with the automatic update went wrong. What error message did you get?
