Update error

    I just went to update my plug-ins and I got an error message for the SEO All in One Package – An error occurred while updating All in One SEO Pack: The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature.

    I also received this error message for the Shareaholic update – An error occurred while updating Shareaholic | share buttons, analytics, related content: The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature.

    I’m not sure what to do. I’m not very techy, so any help you give me would be great. Also, it also says that my site does not appear to be protected by Bullet Proof Security.

    The error could be either because the server is very low on disk space or when you try to upload corrupt or unzipped plugin files. If you tried to just update plugins, try deleting them and then uploading and installing the plugins. I would further suggest that keep all the other plugins deactivated while updating/ uploading one, especially, either deactivate or delete security plugins that you can reinstall later.

    Backup your site including database before doing anything.
