Update error

    Hi there,

    I get this error when trying to update plugin to version 2.0.5

    Update Failed: Could not copy file. woocommerce-pdf-invoices-packing-slips/vendor/dompdf/dompdf/lib/fonts/OpenSans-Italic.ufm.php

    Current version 2.0.4

    Any suggestions?

    Hi! The error “Update Failed: Could not copy file.” can have several causes:

    • The file or folder is not writable
    • The file or folder is writable but has a different ‘owner’ (for example if you installed the plugin via FTP instead of via WordPress)
    • You ran out of hosting space

    I would recommend checking free disk space on your hosting as a first simple step.

    If there’s more than enough free space, you could try removing the plugin and installing it again (preferably via the WordPress dashboard to avoid owner/permission errors), to see if that resolves the issue with the next update.

    The reason for update failure was I ran out of hosting space.
