Hello. I noticed some serious bugs after the update. On the page with categories of courses, courses in this category are not displayed. If you go through the lessons (click complete), it does not redirect to a new lesson and does not count that lesson as completed – I stay on the page of this lesson. SyntaxError: Unexpected token ‘<‘, “<!DOCTYPE “… is not valid JSON – at the console. I’ve created a test category with a test course. but it does not appeared at the page of a category https://aumit.us/course-cat/testcat/ here is a test course https://aumit.us/course/test/ I can’t complete a lesson. Could you please check it? I’ve done a backup of my site before updating plugin.

    Hi satisfactionstate,

Thank you for reaching out and providing such detailed information about the issues you’re experiencing after the update. We appreciate you taking the time to report these bugs.

While we don’t have direct access to your LearnPress setup to test the lesson completion issue, we were able to access the category link you provided https://aumit.us/course-cat/testcat/ and confirm the error you described.

The “SyntaxError: Unexpected token ‘<‘, “<!DOCTYPE “… is not valid JSON” error, along with the course display issues, strongly suggests a conflict with another plugin (possibly a security or caching plugin) or your theme.

Could you please try the following troubleshooting steps:

    1. Deactivate all plugins except LearnPress: Temporarily deactivate all other plugins on your site, leaving only LearnPress active. Then, switch to a default WordPress theme like Twenty Twenty-Five. Check if the issue persists. This will help us determine if a plugin conflict is the cause.
    2. Check for Theme Conflicts: If the issue is resolved after deactivating the plugins, reactivate them one by one, testing the course category page and lesson completion after each activation, to identify the conflicting plugin. If the issue persists with only LearnPress active, the problem might be with your theme. Try switching to a default WordPress theme (like Twenty Twenty-Five) to see if that resolves the problem.

If the problem continues after trying these steps, please let us know.

    Best regards,

Thank you. I found the mistake. In the case of displaying categories, the issue was solved when I deactivated the Solid Security Basic plugin. And the button issue was solved when I switched to the Twenty-Twenty five theme. And I realized that the problem was in my theme, because I had slightly customized the single-course and complete button. This issue was solved when I copied the new files from your updated plugin. The issue with displaying courses in a category is solved by disabling the Solid Security Basic plugin, but it is actually a great plugin and I would like to continue to use it. And if I leave this plugin running and click on the complete lesson button, I get a 403 ajax error.

    Gracias
