The plugin does update when source data file is changed.

However I need it do update every week, even when no data is changed in the source data file.
This because is does an extra external request based on the data in the source data file

Is this possible?

Yes, that’s possible. WP All Import will update data, even if it hasn’t changed, based on what you’ve set in the import settings: https://d.pr/i/bVlioA.
