Update fails

I’m running v4.7 and am trying to apply the update in wordpress, but it fails with:

Update Failed: The update cannot be installed because we will be unable to copy some files. This is usually due to inconsistent file permissions.

My other plugin updates worked fine. I checked owner/group and permissions on all files under plugs and all are set correctly.

Any idea how to fix this?
