Tried rolling back the plugin and database twice, still failed. Tried deleting the plugin and installing new from the dashboard, same failure. finally had to resort to downloading from here, unpacking locally and uploading with FTP.
This issue should be resolved in the new release of Types. Could you confirm that?
Just to let you know Adriano, I still had this problem this morning. I posted on your site about it. I had to go back to 1.5.7 because 1.6.2 wouldn’t unpack. Like Hube2, I had multiple failures and had to FTP in and delete the folder. I’m going to try at some point again because I would like to run the updated version. I’m running WP 3.9.2 at this point. Could this problem resolve when I go to WP 4.0?

As soon as I have some time to kill I will attempt to do the auto update with the new version and see what happens. I just want to make sure I have some time free, just in case.
