update hangs forever

hello, the last update cannot be installed. the update process sits and waits forever. during the process i cannot do other changes. i have to leave the update page, thus cancel the process. then, of course, wordpress informs me that an update process was unsuccessful and asks if if want to try again. i did twice. no solution.

the problem does not depend on the browser.
