Update host space after deleting UpdraftPlus backup

    We had 5 updraftplus copies of our web wp+database+ etc..
    Our MySQL space has filled up, we are at 93%
    We have deleted the oldest backup by clicking on the corresponding button (Red) -in UpdraftPlus-.
    It has NOT lowered the size of the MySQL Database.
    What do I have to do to get it updated?

    Hi,

    The backups are not stored in the Database so removing the backups will not reduce the size of your DB.
    To reduce the size of the DB, you will need to optimise it. I would recommend our free plugin WordPress Optimize (getwpo.com) for this
