Update On Using Direct Charges API

    Hi, I was wondering if there is an update on the request submitted by @xibble last year. He mentioned in his support ticket that the app is using the Destination Charges API instead of the Direct Charges API, and @gauchoplugins mentioned that they have plans to address this.

    Hi @erguna,

    Thanks for reaching out about the Split Pay Plugin.

    The plugin is built using the Transfers API on Stripe, not the Destination or Direct Charges APIs.

    Integrating the Destination or Direct Charges APIs is on the back-burner for now, as it would require a major refactor of the plugin and there are already a few other high quality paid plugins available in the market. I’m not sure if there are any on ww.wp.xz.cn, but I would only be able to recommend them if so, as this is the free plugin forum.

    Sorry to disappoint you with this – but there are already good solutions out there, so it wouldn’t make sense for us to replicate what’s already available.
