Update post_date – cannot map field on product import

Hi there,
I’ve imported a couple of thousand variable products and variations successfully, however I would like to be able to set the post_date (to force the order of the products displaying)

I cannot choose post_date as an field to map to when using the importer – any suggestion of how to achieve this?
