Update problem (plugins ans WP)

Hallo Community.

I have been using WP as a platform for documentation for two years without problems.

As I did not update for some time now (WP is 3.3), I wanted to to that some days ago, but that failed completely.

Neither plugins nor WP itself can be updated automatically. The error message is i.e.:

“Update Plugin
Downloading update from http://downloads.wp.xz.cn/plugin/anthologize.0.7.zip…
Download failed. couldn’t connect to host
Return to Plugins page”

When I tested the web address, I realized that downloads.wp.xz.cn does not exist.

Have there been chance since WP 3.3 – is there any chance to update automatically nevertheless?

The hoster tells me “WP is running without problems”
