I have been using UM for a couple of years and there was no problem. After a recent update when a user goes to edit profile, makes changes and clicks “Update Profile”, it gives a HTTP 500 error. When we click “Cancel” it reloads the page as expected.

    I have tried
    1) disabling all plugins and keeping only this. 2)Rebooted the VM server. 3) Deleted all unnecessary forms in UM. 4) I tried to reinstall core pages using wp-admin/admin.php?page=um_options&um_adm_action=install_core_pages, but I get a “Security Check” error. (I was logged in as admin on wordpress)

I am an intermediate WP user. Please help.

    Thank you.

Word press is running 6.4.1. UM 2.7.0.

    Hello @dharmavish

Could you enable debug log and check errors – https://ww.wp.xz.cn/documentation/article/debugging-in-wordpress/#wp_debug_log?

    Regards.

This is the error in the log. I am not knowledgeable enough to understand this.

    Hello @dharmavish

Could you create a new test profile form and try to update it?

    Regards.

I created another form with just 2 fields to test. Here is the live preview.

I added the short code on the profile page. But when I go to edit profile it goes to the another for with a different short code.

So I trashed all the other forms and I kept only the new one. And now when I go to edit profile, there are no fields visible.

    Hello @dharmavish

Could you create a staging site (maybe on localhost) and check this issue there? Please don’t send any credentials here.

I was trying out a lot of permutations and combinations, and it started working out of the blue. I really have no idea how. I even tried to replicate the problem, but it seems to have disappeared. Thank you so much for your support. In case it happens again, I will repost the problem. Thanks again
