Not sure I follow. Photonic has always been compatible with 5.3. There are no issues that I am aware of.

Where do you get this error? What are you trying to set up? Are you trying to authenticate Google Photos? If so, there is a very comprehensive pinned post at the top of this forum for what to do when faced with Google Authentication errors.

What is the user name you have defined in the settings? Note that it should just be your user name, not https://your-user-name.smugmug.com.

Last question. Is it an option to showcase my most recent albums like I’m doing here:

I guess you could use the sorting options to show the more recent albums first. When you have picked your layout, you are presented with an option, “Album sort order”, where you can pick your preference. Additionally you can set up the “Number of albums to show” to show fewer albums at the beginning, and you can set the “More” button text to have something that prompts users to load more albums.
Now I’m getting this error if I choose “albums in a folder”:

Is it because I have so many albums? Also choosing Album Sort Order” doesn’t give me a way to showcase all my most recent albums because they are coming from multiple folders.
What I need is for it to show the same way it does when on the Pick your album screen. That shows all my most recent albums no matter what folder.

The cURL timeout can be increased via Photonic → Settings → Generic Options → Advanced → Increase cURL timeout, but in most cases users encounter errors due to temporary glitches.

Not following you. What do folders have to do with this? If you simply pick “Multiple albums” and apply the sort conditions, you will get albums from across folders sorted by the criterion you choose. If you are trying to pick the “albums in a folder” option, you will only get albums from that folder.

I got that going now. Just one more thing concerning the custom thumbnail size. Am I looking in the wrong area?
I apologize regarding this option. I had originally intended to support custom sizes in the previous release, but I had to make the release out of schedule and I might have inadvertently left the option in without fully coding it.
Please use any size apart from custom. The standard sizes work perfectly for more than 99% of the cases.
I really appreciate this plugin. You have soooo many options there. Right when I think you don’t have something I need, it pops up. But its also confusing. Is it anyway I can pay you to set this up on my site to look close to how mine currently looks on smugmug?

What you have currently is responsive. As for the rest, the differences I see are in the size of the thumbnails and in the way the title shows up over the whole photo. The size of the thumbnail can be changed with a bit of effort in the code (as I mentioned in my previous response, it was something that I had started doing, but I had to pull it out of the code), and I can consider delivering that in one of the next few releases.
As for the title covering the image, I don’t see that happening in the foreseeable future.

Not sure if I understood this statement, but I believe this is offered by default by Photonic.
