I want to update stagin with products changes made on production – so i select only woocommerce tables? But what with product images? Does updates deletes all changes on stage i mean for example images uploaded meanwhile on stage or just overwrites those from production site but also leaves new changes on stage?

    I got this info

this will overwrite the staging site “……” and will lead to loose of your staging sites modifications. i would like to know how update process works…

    Hi @dolecc ,

Any design, content, SEO, or related changes made on the staging site will be overwritten by production if you use the update feature.

That’s why in your case, we recommend not using the update feature. Instead, please follow this guide to sync only the WooCommerce products: Skip WooCommerce Orders and Products.

This way, you can bring over the product changes without losing your other modifications on staging.

    Cheers!

    1. so even if i choose only woocommerce tables to updates…. i will loose everything on stage? I selected only woocommerce tu update to stage we know woocommerce have seperate tables now?
    2. Pushing changes – mean replace all tables or add new changes from staging – i have situation where some new posts are added on product page during staging but also new pages are created on stage…site which i want to push to production ….do we replace the production site completetely with stagind or just push changes (differences on stage) so changes made on production during staging are still there…

    Hi @dolecc

    1. WooCommerce have separate tables for orders, known as HPOS, but not for products. So the products data are saved into multiple WordPress tables, like (wp_posts, wp_postmeta, wp_terms and others).
    2. It means replace all tables. There is no option to push only the difference between staging/live sites.

For “pushing” feature-related questions, please reach out to us via this form, and we can guide you through it in details, as we aren’t allowed to provide support for Pro features here on the forums.

    Thanks,
    Alaa
