Update Theme & Content But Keep The Database

    Good Morning Fellow WordPress users, i have a small issue i am hoping the community can help me with. I would like to update one of our websites to a new theme and edit content on the pages, the problem we have is we receive daily signups to our fitness events so i can’t backup a copy for local and then re-up the updated theme and content without losing the new sign ups in the database we have received while working on the new theme locally.

    Does anyone have any good ideas on the best way to update our site, make the edits and then upload the fresh website without losing our signups on the new database. I hope this makes sense and i thank you in advance for your help.

    We are using the Gravity Forms Plugin.

    Updating the theme will not impact on your online site’s content but you simply cannot carry out a partial db restore. You’ll need to edit the content manually.
