I use actualy the theme expound version 1.6
I see there a possible update to version 1.8
How is it possible to know files that the new version 1.8 corrects ?

Unfortunately, this theme does not ship with a changelog.

Ok, but now how I made ? Indeed, if I apply the update, I lose all the modifications which I was able to bring to the files of the theme…

Do not edit the theme itself. First create a child theme for your changes.

Download the previous version (ie your version) of the theme and compare your edited version with the original. That should help you to identify what you have changed and need to move into a child theme.

You can get a list of modified files with Subversion:
```
svn diff http://themes.svn.ww.wp.xz.cn/expound/1.6/ http://themes.svn.ww.wp.xz.cn/expound/1.8/ --summarize
```

You could also look at trac if you don’t have subversion.
