    Hi Guys
    I never have an issue with all the translations that WP make. However on this occasion WordPress translations is producing this error in its update

    “WordPress Updating translations for WooCommerce (en_GB)… failed. Could not remove the old translation”

    I have never had this before between WP and Woocommerce. it has always completed succesfuly befoe.

    Any ideas please?

    Hi there,

    Just to make sure: Have you checked the folder permissions for the directory where the translations are saved? Also – are you managing those translations using a plugin like https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/loco-translate/ ?

    Hi Thanks for the response. Just managed to solve the issue. I have had to change the ownership permissions on all woocommerce language files located in /wp-content/languages/plugins to www-data Really strange all my files are set to ftp owner as i never allow auto updates. This is the first time i have had to change the woo language files to www-data (Changed back after updating)
