Update User Role Based on Profile Fields

    I am setting up a virtual conference with different tiers of access. For candidates, there are two tiers: standard and premium. I have set up the WooCommerce extension to allow standard candidates to update to premium.

    However, candidates from certain schools should be marked as premium candidates automatically (their schools have paid for this upgrade for all of their students). Is there a way to automatically change a user’s role based on which selection they make in a certain field on the registration form?

    It appears I can sort of do this with conditional fields on the registration form by showing an “role” field when they select certain schools, but it only allows me to use five conditions to determine the display of each “role” field. There are 20 schools that need this feature, so five fields is not enough.

    It seems like this is not possible? Can someone confirm that this is not possible?
